Adoption Fees
Our adoption fee(s) are as follows:
- Puppies (under 6 months) = $ 175.00
- Dogs (over 6 months) = $ 150.00
- Kittens (under 1 year) = $ 95.00
- Cats (over 1 year) = $ 75.00
- Senior Cats (over 10 years) = $ 48.00
All of our pets are vet checked for health, spayed or neutered, dewormed, microchipped, and are up-to-date on all vaccinations. Dogs are tested for heartworm, treated if necessary, and placed on a preventative. Cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and Feline FIV. All injured pets receive any treatment or surgery needed to restore them back to good health.
To adopt a pet from PALS or for more information on one of our pets, please call or visit the shelter. We do ask potential adopters to first complete a pre-adoption questionnaire for the purpose of ensuring your compatibility with a pet, as well as your eligibility to adopt a pet. After the pre-adoption questionnaire is reviewed and approved, we require adopters to complete an adoption contract. We do not discriminate against anyone for reasons of race, religion, age, politics, gender, or sexual orientation, but we do reserve the right to refuse adoptions based on the information we interpret from these forms, with regard to legalities and the pet’s needs or requirements. We try very hard to make every adoption a happy and satisfactory one!
